In an effort to connect directly with Qatar’s disabled communities and empower individuals representing them, three Ambassadors were selected to represent the face of Accessible Qatar and to serve as liaisons between the initiative and the disabled community covering visually, hearing and mobility impairment. The Accessible Qatar Ambassadors programme enables the Ambassadors to help with developing activities within their community, provide financial support to host events or activities under the Definitely Able/Accessible Qatar name, take an active role in supporting Accessible Qatar and Definitely Able events and to help create social media content that is appealing to disabled individuals.
