Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF), is located within Education City, Doha (Qatar). HBKU delivers an array of Masters and Doctoral programs through its interdisciplinary graduate Colleges, among which the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, home of the Translation and Interpreting Institute (TII).
Established in September 2012, as a noble initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, TII has become a prime educational and professional center in Qatar through its first-class Masters programs, validated by the University of Geneva, as well as its high-quality translation and interpreting services and language programs. TII’s mission is to educate engaged professionals and researchers who will contribute towards a more inclusive society by bridging the gap between languages and cultures and making information, entertainment, culture and heritage accessible to all, including people with disabilities
